To tackle this brief I really had to think "What makes a book limited edition?". What would make someone repurchase a loved book, what would catch someone's eye? Would someone buy the book purely for the design?

I wanted my design to be true to the book so I used clock for the main imagery, a very important and reoccurring theme in the book. My concept was for the clock to be interactive, intricate and layered

My colour palette was based on the colours in the book; black and white for the tents, and the red accent for the rêveurs, the fans of the circus who wore red to identify themselves. 

The clock hands would have free movement, and clock face layered
